Nelze povolit Wifi

Ahoj lidi,
nedávno jsem si opatřil notebook lenovo ideapad v460. Nicméně mám pořád problémy s tím rozjet wifi. Podle lspci je mám Broadcom Corporation BCM4313 802.11b/g LP-PHY.
Když jsem nainstaloval balík broadcom-wl, tak všechno fungovalo správně (aspoň vím že to jede :-), jenže pak jsem si aktualizoval jádro a ovladač samozřejmě už neodpovídal verzi jádra. Snažil jsem se to obejít tím že jsem si nainstaloval balík akmod-wl, podle tohoto návodu: http://fedoramobile.org/fc-wireless/broadcom-linux-sta-driver

lsmod vypisuje wl - z toho soudím že ovladač je zaveden.

Systém teď zařízení najde (vidím ho v System-Administration-Network v záložce hardware) Ale neexistuje k němu žádný device (tedy v záložce hardware má přídomek eth1, ale nefiguruje vůbec v záložce Devices)

Pokud kliknu na network manager na panelu, tak tam vidím sice položku enable wireless, ale nelze ji zaškrtnout.
Zkoušel jsem manuálně přidat device v System-Administration-Network v záložce devices, ale to nepomáhá.

Pokud někdo máte tipy jak se s tím vypořádat, dejte vědět. Rád Vám sem dodám další informace.

  1. zkus starsi jadro - pri bootu podrz shif a z menu vyber predchozi verzi
  2. broadcom karty potrebovali proprietarni firmware, nevim jak je to ted, ale v baliku kmod-wl ani broadcom-wl nic takoveho neni
  3. balik kmod-wl uz pro aktualni kernel je, nejsem si jist, zda lze mit zaroven nainstalovat akmod i kmod
  4. podivej se do vypisu prikazu dmesg a do logu /var/log/messages jesli tam o broadcomu neco neni

Instalovány mám balíky: broadcom-wl a kmod-wl z RPM Fusion Nonfree. Karta funguje bez problémů. Dle uvedeného návodu akmod-wl nepodporuje tvůj model bcm4313. Měl by být zaveden také modul lib80211 a neměly by být zavedeny moduly b43 nebo ssb.

Jak covex napsal ze existuje uz novej kmod-wl tak jsem zkusil opet nainstalovat jenom braoadcom-wl a kmod-wl. Po restartu pocitace wifina slapala jako hodinky. Jakmile se ale stahly updaty tak byl zase stejnej problem: nelze povolit wireless klinutim na network manager (rozumej je tam ten checkbox, ale klikani na nej nema zadnej efekt).

Ale kdyz to funguje pred updatem tak soudim ze nepotrebuju doinstalovavat zadne dalsi baliky. Musi to byt neco co se stahne s temi updaty co to pokazi)

Podívej se na poslední operace balíčkovacího systému ve /var/log/yum.log. Zkontroluj zda verze kmod-wl odpovídá tvé verzi jádra: $ “uname -r” (je to metabalíček).

Mám podobný problém na Lenovo ideapad S205 s Atheros ar9285. Kabelové připojení bez problému, WiFi nelze v NM povolit. Zkusil jsem wicd s jeho pomocí WiFi bez problému připojím, ale po restartu nb vyskočí hláška “Could not connect to wicd’s D-Bus interface. Check the wicd log for error messages.” S tím si nevím rady ani po googlení. Potřeboval bych poradit buď jak docílit, aby se dala WiFi v NM povolit, Nebo jak naroubovat wicd jako defaulního správce připojení a NM potlačit. Tady je pár výpisů.

Díky za každou radu.

Konecne dotaz jak ma byt - kratky a s udaji ze kterych se neco da vycist. Presto bych poprosil jeste o dve veci:

  1. neco jako “grep NetworkManager /var/log/messages” abysme videli co provadi NM se sitovymi zarizenimi
  2. cat /etc/sysconfig/networking/devices/*

wicd sice nepouzivam, ale podle me je to vicemene nadstavba na konzolove nastroje jako iw/iwconfig, zajimavejsi je proc NM toto zarizeni nechce ovladat ale to by melo byt v logu.

Nema notebook nejake hardwarove zapinani a vypinani WiFi?

Ano. Má HW vypínač, kterým se zapíná taky Bluetooth. Navíc je to ještě možné ovládat pomocí Fn+F5. Proč je to dublované jsem nepochopil. Dá se s tím něco dělat? Přiznám se, že v tomhle dost tápu.

Nemam tuseni, zkousel si ten switch prepinat? Vypada to, ze “stav” v kernelu je “enabled” ale skutecny stav prepinace je “disabled”.
