catalyst

Zdravím,
mám takový problém. Po instalaci catalystu pro fc16, se mi nenastartuje grafické prostředí. Zůstane černá obrazovka. Na fc16 jsem upgradoval pomocí yum. Co jsem se zatím díval na google, tak nikdo jiný takový problém nemá :frowning: .

A potrebujes nutne pouzivat catalyst? Ja pouzivam standardni ovladac radeon a funguje perfektne.

Tak nutně ne. Akorát že mi nefunguje zvuk přes hdmi.

Pro HDMI audio, edit /boot/grub2/grub.cfg, a k “linux” radce pridej: radeon.audio=1

Pokud by ti po tom nahodou zustala cerna obrazovka, tak je spatne narouvovany signal pro blanking monitoru do hdmi v ovladaci pro tvoji kartu a audio ti tedy nepujde.

V gnome když pustím video, tak to nepřehrává a v KDE to přehrává zrychleně. A audio nefunguje.

Aha… a co si udelal nebo neudelal?

No upravil jsem ten config soubor, restartoval a poté přepnul výstup zvuku na hdmi. A samozřejmě připojil kabel.

Tak to uz ti nic jineho bohuzel neporadim… pokud pouzivas radeon ovladac, snad jen napsat do bugzilly jaky a ze to nefunguje…

Na google jsem tohle našel akorát na jednom francouzském fóru: http://forums.fedora-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=53478
Ale z toho nejsem moc moudrý ani s google překladačem.

Co tam pisou je, ze se nenacte ovladac fglrx, tedy pomerne zasadni komponenta Xorg. Duvod nevim - zalezi jak si ovladac instaloval. Nekdo tam doporucuje nainstlalovat balik mesa-dri-driver-dri1 coz je stara verze DRI. Ale nevim zda to je skutecne tim.

Tak instalace toho balíku nepomohla. Ovladač jsem instaloval z rpmfusion.
A zjistil jsem, že když přejmenuju xorg.conf tak mi grafické prostředí nastartuje i s tou chybou. Když tak tady je log:

Chapu to dobre, ze po odstraneni xorg.conf funguje graficke prostredi i s fglrx (catalyst)? Pokud s xorg.conf ne, pak bude chyba v nem a mela by se objevit chybova zprava na konci Xorg.0.log. V zasade ale moderni Xserver configuracni soubor xorg.conf nepotrebuje - pokud funguje spravne autodetekce vsech komponent.

No po odstranění xorg.conf mi to hodí tu samou hlášku, ale pak naběhne grafické prostředí. Ale po spuštění videa se grafické prostředí restartuje.

Ale v každém případě takový výpis patří do závorek.
